Donald Trump appoints a Nigerian into his Economic advisory team. Many people would see this as a welcomed idea, since it contradicts the belief by the majority that the recently-elected American president is a racist.
Adebayo Ogunlesi was born in Nigeria, from Sagamu, Ogun state. The 63 year old attended Kings college Lagos before proceed to Oxford University where he graduated.
Adebayo also studied at Harvard Law and Business schools graduating with both distinction in Law and MBA. He is the only black man in the Advisory Committee.
His father was the first Professor of Medicine in Nigeria. According to Bloomberg he is worth an estimated $900 million dollars.
He is the Chairman of Global Infrastructure Partners who made global headlines when he acquired Gatwick airport UK for £1.5 billion and Edinburgh airport for £807 million in 2009 and 2012 respectively.
